I must agree with Juro, it's a shoe. Without the explanation of the setting, it would not seem to be much more, except a well taken photo of a shoe. ( IMHO )

I only meant that the photo alone, without the description, or inferring a deeper meaning, would not have the same impact. I think it is very well done, the textures and colors of the shoe and stone compliment each other. As for how it got there, we can only guess.
